These ECU's are being sold by auction on Ebay.
Some radios as well with the 5 day listings updated daily.
Seller corresponds well in english.
Selling price varies but around 25 Euros is typical.
Postage to the UK is another 20 Euros (DHL 24 hr tracked).
Citroen currently on offer includes AX, ZX & Xantia petrol ECU's.
e.g. Item 150976872258 - 1929PR Xantia 3.0i - Bosch 0261206119 Motronic.

Do ECU's of XM's or Xantia's etc. ever give problems John? It is just that I have never come across it.

Most common problem is Immo related.
You occasionally used to see very good XM's for sale as scrap due to code lock-up.
The chipping firms used to charge between £200 and £300 to reset or bypass the ECU.
Was not always done very well.
Citroen used to charge £600 plus to supply, fit and enable a replacement ECU.

Scrap yards usually want between £50 and £100 for an ECU, often with user code missing or of doubtful history.
So in my opinion the Bosch sell off prices are potentially of good value to some of members.
I think it is a once only availability so best that people know about them and decide for themselves.
