Yes no problem Tim; a small section of double sided pad on the badge and you'll be OK
- have you managed to ge a new replacement panel for your maroon one then? If not, I'll
likely have a spare s1 one? PLUS - any joy with that alternator that's stopping you
enjoying driving the car?

Re: 1992 CITROEN XM 2.0 SEi
Hi everyone, i've just bought this xm !!! The lopsided look must be because of where it was parked because its fine ! It's actually in excellent condition, and everything works, except the fuel gauge, ( half way through fixing that ! ). Taxed till next july and mot'd till january, i got it for £550, drove it back from slough to warwickshire and it never missed a beat ! Infact it drives better than my BMW 740i !! This is my second XM, the first was a phase 2 CT Turbo with too much wrong with it to be saveable.

Welcome to the forum Brett!
I so nearly bought this myself, wish I had actually as it's one of the more
unusual (rare?) colours on an Xm looking quite sophisticated and different.
I see it has the default xm warning on the left hand display mind!?
I'll be watching your progress with it in keen interest!! Nice one!

Lovely looking XM there, I thought it almost looked a professional shoot to begin with to. I so miss my S1, makes me want to fit the proper looking spoiler onto my S2, that would really finish mine off for me. Can't be that hard and i've got some paint left over from the wing.....

Re: 1992 CITROEN XM 2.0 SEi
Hi Brett, I too was tempted by the car but I already have five!!! It does look like a very nice example of (I think) possibly the best XM model ever made. If you have a moment I would be interested to know the colour code (under bonnet below battery) and production number (front passenger door post) as I have a 1992 model SEI turbo which looks identical. Good XMing to you. Matthew T.
