Wanted: Series 2 ignition switch

Hi guys,

I'm semi urgently in need of an S2 ignition switch, for a 95 petrol TCT.

Anyone got one kicking around in exchange for a few beer tokens?

Yes.
Be a bit more specific as to what is wrong with yours.
Key part or wiring and electrical ping whatsits.
Swapping the key part for a replacement will mix up the rest of the keys and locks.
I can supply either part for both lock types (Simplex or Valeo).

Hi John,

The key part is fine, the electrical side is failing, symptoms such as intermittently failing to crank (despite starting relay being in place), occasional loss of indicators (BMW mode), sidelights turning on but headlights not, blower turning off if heated rear window or headlights are switched on. A jiggle of the key on-off several times resolves it - for a while, but the symptoms come back and are getting progressively worse.

Valeo and Simplex bits are not interchangable.
