They're like buses!

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

This one looks very similar, mine had a new engine at 100k but otherwise the same model, don't know about the pump, my estates have got the Bosch but they were registered in Jan '96 if its after that could possibly be a EPIC, ask him. If there was a picture of the engine you could tell as the EPIC has trunking across the engine carrying all the wires.

It mentions it has an imobiliser, i didnt think any Bosch pump cars have one? So it might be an EPIC.

It still could be a Bosch, my last '96 XM had a keypad with a Bosch pump - its marginal, they changed in '96. I think it must be later than January or it would be a 'YBL' does it give the date? --I have just looked, 1st Jan, that's the first Jan reg non YBL I have seen, its all down to when it was made then.

Ah, thats that theory away then

Accoring to the DVLA website, it was first registered on 01/01/1996 - A good chance its a Bosch pump in that case?

The DVLA also says its Bronze!

Well, you might be in luck Kev :)

A new front number plate would have made it more presentable.

For interest

MOT did expire June 2009 and the abs light is on. Not been on a public road since then (according to the vendor). He must have taxed it for a full year just before the MOT expired.

Ah, i wonder why that is not mentioned in the advert, that does rather change things for buyers as the car can not be driven away.
