Excellent, you can see where i'm coming from then! I have always loved Mandarin XM's, but that was mainly because there just seemed to be more in that colour back when they were new.
I hate white XM's where all the trim is white too...looks like a flying wedding cake, but with the black trim they look quite crisp and smart.
Shows of the window line kink and the rear lights a treat.

it certainly seemed that all dealer demonstrator cars were mandarin...apart from the grey one I took out for a test drive...for 250 miles...

250 miles..brilliant.

When Citroen launched the C6 over here, they invited me to have a test drive. I accepted..of course, but insisted I could only have it on a Saturday or Sunday. So they decided to drop it off Friday Morning and collected it on the Monday. Had a great time!

No, not at all Russ, I think it's great, anyway you should see my little collection that occupies a long low table. It looks more like a traffic jam...

2 DS, 1 Traction, an SM, an XM, a Xantia, a 205GTi and a 406 coupe...

I'd like a lot more and I especialy like the white XM... That's just lovely...

Thanks Jim, the white one was the last I modified. It turned out very well. It is actually painted in Citroen Alpine White.

Very nice Jim...I must get a 205 GTI. I really like the DS with the red roof. I'll get my collection uploaded soon.. Then you can see the sad lengths I have gone too over the years!
I too have a Pug 406 coupe in blue, Sm in gold and a black traction.
This might interest you...there is somewhere on the net, where someone has taken a Xantia model like ours and turned it into a Activa just like yours. He did a great job. I must find for you.

Now I see you have a collection of mugs...want another?! I have designed my own and had them for sale at the ICCCR and CXM. 3 designs Haut de Gamme - DS CX XM C6. Traction avant & "Air cooled"..2CV, Dyane, Ami 6 and GS.
