PRV V6 24V Engine Available...

Theres NO 24v on the rocker cover... Ok it could of been changed. Also the HT leads are different, not that we can tell from this pic. The 24v leads are a long reach to the plugs where the 12v is much shorter...

Im sticking by NON 24v... unless they have a 24v inlet manifold seperatley.. which they havent..

If you narrow Pilsdons items down to XM only, you will find a "Citroen XM V6 24v AUTO Flywheel" listed.. And we all know or should know, the 24v never got an auto box.

Its a 12v unit!

I purchased a set of 24v dials from Pilsdon about six months ago that did register about 58K, so I do not doubt they have scrapped a car. The single 24v I broke Andrew was a low mileage car, but had been standing about five years in a flower bed and needed a complete respray and it will keep at least one other on the road! After re-checking my 12 and 24v rocker covers the 12v has a slight ridge behind the oil filler cap that the photo engine seems to have, so I think Paul is correct! Regards, Matthew T.

You have the wrong target in Paul.
I am the guilty party.
I delivered a V6 with two 12v engines to Paul a few years ago.
Green car with blue estate doors, just a drivers seat, the spare V6 chained down in the back and as much else as I could get in.
No Mk1's were involved.
Small part of the penance my unit landlord imposed once he counted the number of XM's outside.
Redefined our unwritten agreement on the spot with a week for action or vacate completely.

I was actually recovering from the shock of hearing x2 24v's
had seen their engine removed for spares!

I wouldn't dream of having a 'pop' at anyone though!!

Over the last year Pilsdon have advertised bits from both Citroen and Pug V6's.
I think they have scrapped 3 or 4.
Never visited.
I think PeterN mentioned they were located near him.

Just to confirm that I have not scrapped 2x24v's Andrew!! The car I broke was too far gone unfortunately and you cannot save them all. Regards, Matthew T.
