Having wasted a day and 500 miles to go and view one of their XMs a few years ago, I wont be doing that again!

The car is now up for auction with just three days to go and has reached £700 with six bidders! The classified add is still listed with the figure of £3,495, so no prizes for guessing where the reserve might be!!

I think that number's claim is based on information given in the recent Mandarin car advert Russ (that did not sell for £1,750) and there are probably nearer ten. To be fair the condition of the car is really pretty good. I reckon the reserve is at least £2,750 and may be higher! Regards, Matthew T.

That was a bit of a disappointment as the price did not reach the reserve at £1,020 and was stuck at £700 until the last five seconds!! Perhaps these S1 24vs are not worth gold after all, especially as this example is probably one of the tidiest you will find in the UK. The car is not for everyone admittedly and perhaps the green colour also puts off a few? It will be interesting to see what will happen next. Regards, Matthew T.

Ive got completely mixed up with these two 24v cars.
If this is the green XM topic we are talking about the car is a Very solid car I beleve...
Not sure why it didn;t get a strong price.
