Drivers door strap wanted

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hmm, I'd like to know this too, Norman I have the same problem that you do- the mounting on the body has cracked. Now when I get home and open my door fully, it sounds like a rifle shot echoes across the street. This obviously cannot go on- for the sake of both the XM, and my neighbours!! :D

The strap and mounting are joined using a large flat rivet.
While it could be replaced by a bolt removing the rivet while the strap is on the door will prove difficult.

Hi all,
Spoke to Graham Morton in Holmbridge when I saw him regarding repairing the bodywork and he said he should have one and remove the rivet, replace the mounting plate then put a nut and bolt in as a replacement.
