I will be taking the doors. As we have already discussed mathew.. I need to return a car to single colour in stead of silver and green.. Then we can consider selling the ole girl then.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. With the help of a plank of wood and a willing helper, we've managed to unbend the door frame so that it almost fits! I can see the difference, it doesn't sit quite so properly, but I doubt anyone else can.
Driving it seems good enough to keep the water out, which is the main thing. Wind noise is somewhat louder however, but I can live with it for now.
