I'd think also more 2.5 than 2, it's a solid car as far as the info goes. And obviously looks it too. What's the mileage though?

About 200k miles, iirc.

Mileage is 169000. I've done most of them. Indeed, no one else has driven the car except me since I bought it in 1996. Very over serviced and has also had numerous auto fluid changes.

I'm thinking I'll take £2000 as it is. This will include all paperwork, the original number plate K39 EYM, manuals, handbooks, a boot full of spares and not a spot of rust or mud anywhere. Wheelarches and liners are almost as new. They have never been allowed to get dirty. Car was washed daily when in use and never used in Winters or when salty on the roads.

If the car doesn't sell here in the forum I'd like it to be put on eBay or the likes for as much as you dare. I think it's up to us XM owners to start commanding better prices for our cherished cars, cars like this simply do not come up for sale very often and I firmly believe it's a sellers market out there. The right car will find the right buyer.
