You can definitely manipulate the subframe down if you disconnect the tank filler pipe, I did it earlier this year.

Good to hear it's gone to an owner that can fix it up. A diesel manual is a great car and well worth saving, but the timing just isn't right for me.

Im running a v6 exclusive as bought it cheap a few weeks ago, (your probably see some post of mine) but its discussing on fuel. Its worse then my tdv6 range rover sport to run but i love the xm and drive it more then the range rover. But when i seen a diesel xm come up for sale, i had to have it. You know ill end up selling the range rover now ;)

Ill keep a update on her. She is being delivered tomorrow as easier to pay a recovery agent to get it as busy with other things
