Clarion Pc300 radio

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Im getting radio numbers mixed up.. s.15 xm from 1992 had the black fronted radio casette units with rds. I know the early cars with the grey front radios and no rds didn't have rds and dont have cd changer input..

Being an sed 1.5 model car there should be a black fronted radio casette with rds.. which in sed form should have originally had the option of cd changer. I think only the v6 sei models in this age had cd changer from factory.

This is the Radio With RDS and CD Changer control which should be fitted to S1.5 cars (1992 onwards, with twin spoke steering wheel, unless its been swapped for a single)..

Edit from John - this is a PC202 radio.

This is the NON RDS Radio with no CD Changer control, fitted to cars from 1989 to 1992..

Confusing to say the least! Since I have the Clarion CD changer and the lead in the car I must need the Clarion with the cd connection .Is this the PC 202?
The steering wheel is single spoke.

The steering wheel has been changed. The single spoke looks so much better!
I have a correct, surplus radio CD head unit if you want it. I can confirm that it fits your car because it was in CEO for about two minutes at this year's X Rally!!! I will explain if you get in touch. It works perfectly but needs a couple of new backlight bulbs for the display.
PM me if you are interested.
£40 is what it cost me. Happy to haggle!

I think I should make clear what I am looking for.
Radio, I would like to replace the type of radio originally fitted to CEO. I understand it was either the Clarion pc 300 or pc 202.
Speedo or cluster, I have a 2.1 td automatic and although the mileometer works the speedo is dead. Why cluster? I think it might be easier to get than the speedometer head.
Of course I am possibly wrong.

If mileometer works still, cable drive is ok. Speedometer could well be easily repairable. Might even just be stuck?
Speedy Cables - now in South Wales, I think - will repair any make/vintage of speedo.

Merely offering choice! Besides which nothing has been agreed by anyone.

How much are you flogging your radio for?

Am I undercutting the market rate?

Not going to fall out with you over a radio.
