Can I ask where would be best to advertise the cars avoiding the dreaded eBay?

Advertising on the forums seldom works for the obvious reason that most of the people are here because they already have one

If you are a member of the Citroen Car Club, you can advertise in the magazine (which I recommend highly), it may reach a slightly wider audience. I always look at the classifieds first, but SWMBO doesn't know that. Of the other sites, I have found "Carandclassic" to be the best, I have sold and bought one or two there over the years, and it is free. I sold my previous Xantia on it, attracting a buyer who flew over from Germany! There are others but they don't seem to attract as much traffic. I don't know if the classic car press is any good as I've never used it for selling.

Thanks for the advice Rob, I have looked at car and classic but I've never used the site before so didn't know if it had much reach etc....

Hopefully I hear back from Paul and I'll update this topic if things progress.
