Just a quick one.. How is the lever leather gaiter disconnected and re attached to the lever?

The gaiter has an elasticated top, which is a tight fit into a groove just beneath the handle. Can be persuaded out with patience and a plastic trim tool.

If that's the price and yours is the result it doesn't really need any further work I'd say..

Plus p+p I seem to remember, but was reasonable. Factor in you have to send one to them though.
