It has 3 previous owners that makes 4 over 15 years and only 100k giving 6.5k a year between them an avergae of 25k each.

Quite plausible, especially if some of those owners have been "older".

Phoned today. It has been off the road for the last two years. Certainly lloks nice and I am tempted but if it has all sorts of issues relating to sitting still for two years then could be problematic.

I agree the HP18 will take the power, my Saab 9000 was clocked as 225 bhp and had covered 270k still on the same box, the bo did have a snatching 3-4 shift but i know what that is now and has nothing to do with power or wear and tear.

The higher power applications do however have a seperate air cooled front mounted rad seperate to the oil to oil cooler.

Supposedly sold on the 26th October but its RE-LISTED for sale again !

Did someone get cold feet ?

Now sitting in the Highlands with proud new owner. Car is very clean inside and out and underneath. Drove great coming back up the road. Just a few niggles to sort out. The usual really, front centreless alloys need balanced properly, a door button needing a new internal gripper and left hand mirror not heating up (will use posted fix for mirror). I intend to retro fit heated seats and will post questions re that elsewhere on here.

Do you really need heaters in those suede seats? I wouldn't bother, only leather really needs heaters.

I agree with you Dieselman but my girlfriend thinks otherwise having enjoyed the heated seats in the last car which was half leather too. Mind you she has never sunk into the sheer luxury of an xm seat.
