Well worth it for the performance they give..

Standard spec with no mods these were the fastest and quickest citroen ever made at the time sm included.

what a tuned one would be capable of I have no idea according to deloreans club the prv respondes well to tuning.

Turbo it if there's is any space left!

I believe it's possible as you say Paul, Delorean and Renault have turboed the PRV.

Mind you I was told a story by a mechanic who used to own a 2.0 turbo XM. He tweaked the turbo and stuck a super charger on it. How I don't know, but it was insanely quick.

Road going PRVs were only turbos in 12v guise!

Infiniti did a race Turbo engine in 24v and im guessing off top of my head touched 300bhp...

Ive no idea if the road 24v heads and head gaskets could take a turbo straight off with out modification of some sort, for example stronger head gaskets.

To be honest, in this day n age, 200 bhp is well enough, PLOD is far too keen on speed, so it just would not be useable.

Car's gone , baby,gone.
Sold on Monday 19th January, the day before I was going to view it. Just my luck.
Something similar happened to me in November, when I arranged to see a hatchback(advertised for £1,395) in Manchester. When we arrived at seller's house, seller was out, showing car to someone else, who bought it there and then. Fortunately, it was not the only XM we were viewing that day, so trip was not wasted.
