Absolutley not rob. I was being light hearted besides.. its fine. Finding things is an issue to be honest. If the unit is fully working with front panels lights in all 40 quid is about right. They are good units when they work!

Hi All.
Not to steal someones thread here, but I'm also after the RDS Head unit to support the CD Changer.
I have one fitted at the moment and it does work, as does the changer but the head unit has an intermittent fault with the volume which is annoying to say the least, especially when a good tune comes on!
Have these both sold now or is one still available?

I have a collection of XM radios here if all else fails but I think most of them have duff backlights.

Thank you to White Exec I took the speedo to Speedy Cables hear me and in 10 minutes the job was done cost £10.00.

Yes, great result. What was the fault, in the end?

I first used Speedy Cables back in the '80s, when they were in NW London. They completely re-geared and calibrated a Jaeger speedo from a Rover 3500S, when I converted it from OE 4-speed to ZF 5-speed 'box. They would also make up speedo, clutch and other cables from scratch, or produce bespoke.

I have sent my radio to Papaseen on a sale or return basis. He told me over a week ago that he didn't want the unit and promised to send it back to me. 10 days later still no radio or response to my messages. Assuming that he is a man of honour and returns the radio to me it still needs a new home. As previously stated the back lights are semi-functioning (about 1/2 seem to work) but otherwise it works fine.
