There is some minor repainting Russ following my original restoration that I have decided to have done, despite being quite superficial, plus a few other jobs inside exchanging bits of trim! Other recent jobs have been obtaining new reg. plates with dealer logo and engine under bonnet stickers to match the original. Here are some further photos that I did not use on the adverts. Well i'm nic-picking here....The grey bumper trim looks like it could do with some vaseline!!! Maybe some new silver trims..he says being pedantic!
Cor... so this could end up being the finest G reg Xm about.

I am desperate to do the cosmetic stuff on mine. I prefer doing that than the oily stuff really.

Ahh yes, I see what you mean Matthew. I can see a tiny patch of rust on the aircon receiver/drier sightglass!!!!

Gosh, that's a lovely car If I didn't have the Spaceship and had the folding stuff it would be on my driveway now...

Thanks guys and Russ the bumpers and door trims on early series one cars are a lighter charcoal grey colour, rather than black as you have on yours. There are one or two scratches on the bumpers at the corners I acknowledge, but not bad for 22 years! With regards, Matthew T.

Yes so I understand. Mind you I wnet mad with the Vaseline! Window trims still look great. Nice and moist!!

It really looks great despite the small bumper marks and rust on the aircon drier. I would beat Jim to it if I could!
