Sold! To a very good home, not through eBay. This car is heading for Macclesfield area in a few weeks.

I'm sure you're all waiting to hear what I think the XM does better. I am blown away by the C6, however the XM is softer (in a good way) and the seats are much more comfortable for a start.

Will try and get a few pictures of them together before the XM goes on.

Well, Julian and his wife came to pick the XM up just now and take it to its new home. I am confident it will continue to be fettled and refined as time goes by.

I have found this forum to be friendly, helpful and I am grateful for all of your help with this particular XM. I shall continue to check up on the forum now and again and come to the odd Citroen event, so this isn't goodbye, just a bit of quiet. I am really hoping the new owner keeps a blog about it so I can keep an eye on the car's progress.

My only regret is that I forgot to get C6/XM pictures before it went.

Oh and P.S. guess what? The C6 has started misbehaving already with an ABS fault! Also, it is confirmed after driving the XM today, the seats are way better in the XM
