Hello I am looking for and buying a display for my Citroen XM 2.5 td year 1998 is necessary, in good condition and works 100% the original citroen reference for the display is:
6155L8

have you tried opening it and cleaning up the ribbon conduct lines to lcd screeen.. and making the contact squeeze stronger.. that's useually what makes them fail.

If you search the forum for Dot Matrix Repair, Matrix Display Repair, etc., there are some good repair guides, using the conductive rubber strip.
Guessing that your problem is missing pixels, or display in Klingon.
