Boot carpet, saloon

Saloon boot carpet, mine has lost ALL its padded stuck on underlay, any tip....or do you have one ?
The insulation is just regular jute.
If you can't find a carpet in good condition buy some jute and stick it on with impact adhesive.
Leave a 1/2" border round the jute.
Not sure of the thickness...would think 1/2" would suffice.
The jute will have come off due to being wet. Sort the water leak.
