V6 Hatchback For Sale

After much agonising, I must reluctantly sell my emerald green 1997 V6 Exclusive. Bought as a daily driver from Citroen UK's Shaun Lilley ten years ago, it became a much loved a high days and holiday's car four year later and has had many £1000s spent on it, mostly with specialists Citpro and Savoy, including stainless steel rubbing strip inserts and a new set of spheres three years ago, since when it has covered only a few hundred miles bringing the total to 123,000. Collapse of my income due mainly to Covid and of my marriage due to let's-not-go-there mean that I can no longer afford the indulgence of this great car.
Mechanically it is in fine condition but the body work, though generally good, has scuffs on the front bumper and a couple of almost invisible dings on the upper front wings. Inside the leather is unmarked but when the car was vandalised in 2014, the culprits tore off a small strip of the dash vinyl above the ignition switch and damaged the auto gear lever, the latter rather obviously being glued back together, the former left as is. It has a newish battery and good tyres.
Everything electrical works, although the sunroof can be a little temperamental and the LH digital display, like most, is missing many pixels. The original radio/cassette is in place but there's a 6-disc CD changer under the passenger seat. Currently SORN'd, it will be sold with a fresh MoT but how much is it worth? I reckon around £2000 but might be open to offers from forum members, otherwise it will go on Car & Classic or, as a last resort, fleaBay. PM me if you're interested.
