Auto gear stick top wanted ....any condition (for a project)

Anybody got an old one in any condition they do not need.

I am looking at a project to do an accurate --function/appearance/texture/colour--- short run reproduction.

If it works the supplier would get one of the new ones for free.

Funny you want to reproduce the stick, stickfinger . I would certainly be interested in any good replica, as mine is falling apart in many pieces (prefer a wooden one), so please keep me in mind. Unfortunately I can't give you my scrappy one, as without it I can't drive...., but it is all sorted already I notice!

I would also be interested in a new one, as would just about every XM owner in Australia I would think. Also 605 owners...

If you are prepared to make the run a bit bigger, I can do a bit of publicity and get some numbers from Down Under for you.

Hurricane Grey is the colour for all dark interior plastics after 1991.

Please add me to the list I could also give a spare shifter to the project if needed. It has lost all of the outer grip plastic but it might help to set up a shifty exchange service.

I tried a local carpenter to make a new surround, but he gave up.

I ended up with a leather cover from Q&K Citroen Classics - they did a good job.

I would be interested in the end result of this project, though.
