Breaking 2.5TD Manual Estate

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hey, I've not been around much too, apologies never got back to you. Still have gearknob? I can nip over one day and grab it...
Apologies, I don't have the gear knob.

Been quite poorly this year and taken me a lot longer than I had planned to strip the XM. Wife gave me a deadline to get rid of it, I remember the gear knob not wanting to come off and thinking I'll get round to it later. Appears that I forgot to go back to it before scrapping the body.

Ah, never mind. Hope you're feeling better!

I'm Local to you I think, if you come across anything interesting... Rear wiper arm, parcel shelf... The list is long!

Apologies, I've been off the forum for a while.

Parts I have for XM are:
2.5TD complete engine and manual gearbox
Full leather interior with door cards and centre arm rest
Front bumper with fog lights and headlight washers with caps
Front grill
Bonnet
Tailgate
I'm unlikely to buy... But ... Curious about the leather interior, what are you after for it . It's way down my priority list, but I like the Idea!

After £400 for the interior, it's currently fitted in my XM and that is its value to me.
I'm in 2 minds what to do with my XM and if the interior sells I'm thinking of putting the XM on a diet and starting a mission to reduce the weight as much as possible by removing as much unnecessary weight as possible.
If the interior doesn't sell then I'll keep it as the luxury wafting sofa that it is.
Decided to let the gods decide

Other than the electric seats, sunroof and interior sound deadening, I'm not sure where you would see major weight savings with an XM.
The body is robustly made and the subframes weigh a lot, but Citroen were weight concious when this car was designed.

It's replacement weighed 300Kg more.

Which is possibly why it's the only lhm citroen with Alloy trailing arms with alloy calipers and the only one that doesn't suffer caliper lean..
