Header Tank

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Header Tank

Post by Degens » Sat May 21, 2022 10:18 am

Dear all,

my blue XM (P820 UNM) is now already a few weeks in the garage with an LHM leak in the steering and a leaking header tank. The latter is the biggest hurdle, as so far the garage and I have not been able to find a header tank that fits the XM (series 2). If anybody has a header tank, that would be great.

Best wishes,

Hans

They are the same part.

Has yours split at the joint, if so I would be interested in it to look at repairing.

Identical... Wow. Didn't know they used them that's handy to know

Hans. Your garage got in touch with me over the parts. But I couldn't help. I have a rack but your garage didn't come back to me on what exactly was wrong with yours.

Dear Paul,

yes, asked them to contact you and yesterday visited them. They have in the mean time asked for the rack from you, and great that you will send it over. I hope the car can get again be saved. Thanks Paul for your help! Seven years ago you rescued it for us ;-).

Best wishes,

Hans
