Philips Radio And Cd player

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Philips Radio And Cd player

Post by Onion Johnny » Sat Jul 23, 2022 1:40 pm

I've got 4 Philips CD multi changers 2x RC026 2x DC022 one with broken slide door common fault.
2 Philips radios one suitable for spares repair though in working condition.
2 under seat Citroen brackets 6560.G6 no longer available very rare
2 sets of floor mount brackets for any of above.
I don't have the long cable for the multichangers though I can show you what it looks like.
The proper one is in two parts and has an earth strip on the plug which goes in the head unit.
I do have a cable which fits but is wired differently. it may be possible to rewire the radio end?
Always looks better to have the OE radio with the "Citroen" logo on the cassette flap. Nothing worse than a modern plastic fantastic bling monster lighting up the interior in fluorescent blue.

Only thing I'm not flexible on is the good radio cassette with code I want £80.
Rest is open to offers before I Ebay it.

Phillips units are for S2 cars. They have standard iso connectors on the back and the steering control connector is different.

You have 3x factory standard for your year head units off me which are all faulty so its one of those types you need ..

I have the radio on Ebay 115473066476. I'll add some photos of the back and connectors. This will plug straight into a Series 2 car. Getting the cd multichanger to work will require the correct unit and lead.....not as easy as you think. I have three leads and only one works which I am keeping for my car.
I have a second radio unit which actually works without a code which is just as well as I don't have one for it. It's perfect except for two things. The bezel is missing (like a thin plastic frame around the front) and the back light on the screen isn't working but in the right light you can make out the letters etc. Obviously that ones only any good if you have one needing parts. or can fix the backlight. They are usually tiny bulbs but sometimes use LED's?

I have a supply of the bulbs for the radio screen illumination and will share some, but fitting them requires some delicate and awkward soldering.

I think that I also have a correct spare CD changer lead for the Philips unit.

Contact me if interested.
