Hello. I have recently purchased a 1995 citroen xm v6 with the divari steering. I bought this as a project and one of the issues needing to be addressed was the leaking power steering rack. Pleiades of corse was my first call but they have informed me they can no longer get the oem seal kit. So this is why I have turned to the forums. Has anyone got a genuine seal kit that I could buy and then send away to have remanufactured so that no one else ends up in my situation.
Part number 75 516 586.
Any help at all would be fantastic very keen to get this old girl back on the road and driving like I remember.

Cx Basis is selling seal kit for the Diravi and as far as I know it’s the only place selling them.

Do you know if that's a genuine citroen seal kit or the remaifactured kit I've been told not to use by pleiades as they leak

I can almost bet my left kidney that you can’t find oem kit. The kit from CX Basis is aftermarket, but really good quality as are all other seals from them as well.

I would be interested in what exactly the kit comprises, preferably by accurate measurements of new seals/shafts and also by recovery of the old ones.

I have bought a Diravi repair kit from CX Basis about a year ago, with the aim to get my steering rack repaired, but that had never happened. So, using a chance to display what is inside this kit. This kit costs an insane price (over 100 pounds) and is branded as "not-original kit from CX Basis".
In my case, Pleiades has refused to fit that kit for any money suggested, no matter how hard I tried so persuade them, so beware.

Here is how it looks:

Inside there are two bags: with gray/white and with black gaskets:

As measuring soft rubber with a caliper is extremely unprecise, I scanned them on a scanner with 600 dpi resolution, where sizes of interest can be measured in pixels and then multiplied by 0.042(3) to get sizes in mm.

1) Large silicone ring, round in section, Ø2.5, 2 pieces
2) Medium silicone ring, round in section, Ø3.4, 1 piece
3) Small silicone ring, round in section, Ø2.6, 3 pieces
4) Large silicone ring, rectangular in section, 2.4 in height and 2.9 in width, 2 pieces
5) Small silicone ring, rectangular in section, 2.4 in height by 2.5 in width, 1 piece
6) Large teflon ring, rectangular in section, 1.5 in height by 3.13 in width, 2 pieces
6*) Large teflon ring, rectangular in section, 1.3 in height by 3.3 in width, 1 piece
7) Small teflon ring, rectangular in section, 1.3 in height, 2.77 in width, 1 piece
8) Large thin white teflon ring, rectangular in section, 2.94 in height, 0.69 in width, 1 piece
9) Medium thin white teflon ring, rectangular in section, 2.94 in height, 0.84 in width, 1 piece
10) Small thin white teflon ring, rectangular in section, 2.93 in height, 0.7 in width, 1 piece

11) Black rubber gasket, complex quasi-rectangular section, with groove, 6 in height, 4.4 in width, 1 piece
12) Medium black rubber cylinder, 10 in height, 1.78 wall thickness, 1 piece

Thanks for your help.
Pleiades now have my rack and NOS kit and should be measuring the seals up for remanufacturing so hopefully soon a good quality kit will be available from them.
