Not much chance of one in the UK, Diravi was never offered for Rhd Xm.

I find it odd that the rack is considered unserviceable, usually only the rubber seals wear, though there are a lot of them as the rack is made up of too many individual parts.

The gears are worn in the rack itself making the unit unserviceable

So you mean gears inside the Diravi control unit? I'm afraid that XM Diravis are quite rare and expensive. That said I'm wondering if internals from the CX control unit will fit. Even though CX's control unit is separated from the rack, internals might be the same.

I also think this must be the governor gears, as the rack and pinion are not meant to be under any load when the Diravi is operating.

I'm a bit perplexed as to how a rack that is leaking due to needing new seals becomes scrap due to worn gears.

The governor is actually a completely different thing. The governor just moves a sliding valve that controls the pressure to the "heart disc", making the steering firmer.

I have compared cross sectional photos of the CX and XM control units and they may not share as many parts as I thought. Can you be more specific about what exactly is broken? The most common thing to wear out are four small plastic balls and these can be replaced.

Maybe you can get one from the Netherlands as there are quite a few XM enthusiasts there? Surely not asap, but I might be able to get my hand on one control unit. The biggest problem is that I live in Finland, so postage might be expensive.
