New cam belt, auxiliary belt and an oil/filter change done. The belt had 56k miles and nearly 9 years on it. Not too badly cracked, but hardened badly. The aux belt was fubar. Looked ancient. Anyway, everything else, touch wood, passed a few prods and visual checks. Runs sweetly. Only thing is (despite fairly recent new clutch) gear changes are a bit of an effort from cold. When warmed up it's fine. So I think I'll do the gearbox oil as a matter of course (fully synth? Or is it a waste of money?) and check clutch adjustment.

But I'm going to enjoy this car. I can tell.
