Might need 1 headlight on driver side, if anyone got a spare one, I need the mark 1 UK fitting

Headlights, as I can see from catalogues, are the same for Gen-1 and Gen-2 XMs. Numbers are 6204-H9, 6204-H8, 6205-H9, 6205-H8 for right-hand drive.

So far I have found a difference, most of the difference come from the front chrome bit and how that is held onto the body of the light, then you have the difference on how the light is adjusted one has 3 light adjusting points and another has 2 adjusting points, these are just for the right-hand drive, for left-hand the glass and plastic inlay are a mirrored copy

From memory, a Series2 headlamp will fit series1, but not readily the other way round. The reason is the plastic tab the grille fits to is more pronounced on a Series 1 unit.
To fit an S2 unit, you need to add a spacer block where the grille mounts.

Hi Eddie, they are, for me, difficult to find. Maybe an idea to have an add place? I know we have 'sales & wants', but perhaps to make that more oversee-able, maybe delete all the messages that are not relevant anymore; e.g. if I were placing and ad and the item is gone, then I should remove the ad in 'sales & wants', likewise if someone writes a 'want' and the 'want' is fulfilled remove it also. Don't know if that is easy to realise. Dieselman is doing a great job already and I don't want to add an extra burden to him or other moderators.

With over 3700 views I think it's fair to say the ad can be seen. And with no replies I think it's also fair to say no-one's interested to the point whereby I might just do as you suggest and pull the ad.
