S2 Handbook Wanted please

For reference and research prior to possible purchase - I don't mind if it's a bit dog-eared and minus its plastic wallet. Someone must have got a spare saved from a wreck or scrapper? Series 2, UK spec.

The last digit of the part number on the back cover must be > 4 and the last page will say CITROEN UK LTD.

Quite happy to pay a reasonable price and postage (UK).

Just one, thank you. It doesn't have to be in great condition, just no pages missing and not dirty (grubby is OK).

If I manage to buy an XM, I'd expect it to have a Handbook - if not, then it's handy to know you might have a better copy.

Year could be important, but Citroen don't put a dated copyright notice on their publications. :x

It must be a Series 2 Handbook. The obvious difference in the manual will be the 'Sumo' steering wheel (the boss resembles a crouching Sumo wrestler) as in the photo below.

Note the Air-bag and the recessed Audio thumb controls.

The last digit of the part number on the back cover gives the year of publication. I wouldn't mind a 1999 English copy, mine is French.

Thanks. Another fragment of Citroen lore to add to my notes.

I bought a Handbook with the part number XM-GB-5004, thus 1994 which checks as it's for a late S1 (the seller knew absolutely nothing about XMs, and I didn't know much more!).

Presumably 5005 was published in the summer of 1994 as production of S2 RHD Berlines started in early June 94 (RP6416 on a maroon S2 hatch).

Thanks Andrew, but your Handbooks will be LHD and US specification. Also postage and import duty will be expensive.

To clarify:

The last digit of the part number on the back cover must be > 4 and the last page will say CITROEN UK LTD; thus Series 2, UK spec.

Thanks
