Seats for sale...

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Interesting... I cant seem to open that link robert, but im sure it cant be too difficult to do.
Will be good if it wil complete the set again as it was rather comfortable!
Currently in the middle of attempting your ABS fix, right back off outside now i can feel my hands...

Try accessing it directly from the Planete Citroen forum. Odd, it didn't work for me either on the original link.

Good luck with the ABS.

Armrest and rear bolsters now gone.
(or rather the material from the bolsters has gone!
That leaves Drivers seat (ripped bolster) passenger seat and rear seats.

Hi Folks, I have a complete interior that is the same as Dave's so between the 2 of them, you could make a good one.

Has anyone taken a front seat apart yet?

Can the seat cushions be removed as shown in the Citroen illustration here?
Citroen don't differentiate between left and right, so I assume they are interchangable.
If this is the case, I'd be very interested in the front passenger seat that you have Dave and/or Robert.

I'll pull my drivers seat apart, and take pictures of it. I'm interested to see how easy they are to take apart, and to put back together again ultimately.

Thanks Robert.

There will be one difference between driver and passenger seat that I know of - the bolster adjustment in the drivers seat. But I find it pointless so I never use it anyway.

Other than that I would expect them to be the same.

Hi Paul

The backs of the two front seats are identical unless you have a drivers seat side squab adjuster.
Even then a passenger cover and cushion reused on a drivers seat can have a hole cut into it for the adjuster knob.
In that case the foam cushion may well need a bit of excavating for the "D" shaped adjuster rods.
Swapping just covers can be done but is hard work. Loads of metal ties to undo and replace.
The seat bases are handed and cannot be swapped.
With Alcantara needs checking carefully as the suede also wears through in the seat area.
Not as fast at the door side of the drivers seat but usually worse the you expect on close examination.

Hi Paul

What makes you think that I have used the "correct" name!
