I've just ben looking at that, still in its original dwelling place - Bristol reg, not to far away either. It will probably be outside my budget but I will keep watching ....

It looks like a good car, nice low miles as well.

It would make a cracking car Peter, but I suspect that it will make good money going by the recent 2.1 Manuals that have been for sale.

My estimate is it wil sell for as much as the Steve's Maroon 2.1 SED that had heater matrix trouble, if not more.

I reckon it will make very good money, street legal and no major faults. I don't know where all these SEDs are coming from, I would have it at the right price but would prefer a Mk2 estate, the SX hatch I have at the moment is in many ways better than the VSX, it has a dual zone heater and very nice seats so I'm not keen on replacing it. There hasn't been a manual Mk2 2.1 for ages, I am wondering if they have all gone.

The seller is the same chap that had owned the 2.1 SED Auto that I had (not direct from him) and is now with Jonathan. He is a keen XM'er. I imagine this will be a nice car.

I noticed that (ggreggory), but I wonder why he is getting through so many of them in short order. I don't think the others were done up for sale and this one isn't being particularly well presented....though it is a S1 SED.

Surely those wheels are not correct for it at that age, it should have the original flat capped ones, which I much prefer. I think wobbly webs are nearly as bad as S2 trims. IMHO they make the car look bulbous and plain.

Don't know, but it was cheap.. Probably due to the scruffy exterior, flaky lacquer, poor advert and last but definitely not least...advertising it during Easter holidays.

Should've bought it really, but the ongoing aggro of one is enough at the moment.
