Can't help feeling there's a simple solution to the high pressure here!
Even if the seller fella aired his problem on this very forum...

If he is talking about the pipe from the pump to the regulator, its because it needs a new accumulator sphere. I had N497YBL twas a manual, had done 292k when I sold it.

That car was on 'the Bay' last year at 173k miles. It had a slipping auto box then.
