'97 Petrol Turbo auto estate in green - £395ono

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

seems to be a nice old thing really:

Nowt to do with me but seems like a lot of car for the money and dangerously close to being
an engine donor for a hot hatch - me too for my stricken Activa if it had been a bit lower priced.

it does look good Andrew, but what i can never understand is, if its an un-mot-able dog then its too expensive, end of story, but if he is 99% sure it will pass THEN MOT IT!!!!!!!!!! why oh why oh why do people make the sale so much harder for themselfs by making this mistake time after time?????

I met a fella once that had allowed his Xantia V6 to lapse it's TAX/MOT due to family problems.

He just wouldn't use the car on the road even to go to a pre booked MOT as his wife and all her
family worked as Police and driving the car with just insurance was a no no as he had been told
the insurance could be voided too...

the ridicule etc should anything happen were too much or a threat than the eventual scrapping
of the car!! Stupid situation and I tried to persuade him but he just wouldn't sell the car for less
than the going rate for an MOT'd one which was a gamble I wouldn't take as I couldn't drive it
to see if the autobox was all OK and it needed a new cam belt which again dented the actual
value. Not sure if it did get scrapped or not but never saw the car again.

Aircon and cruise control, I'm tempted. Where is it? The mapping bit of the advert doesn't work.

Well according to the map, its a good few hundred miles off the west coast of Africa, roughly on the equator, not sure the cruise would be all that functional after sitting at the bottom of the Atlantic, but i guess that would be the least of your worries

Perhaps that explains why it's only done 150 miles?

Andrew, follow your link, click on Burnham to take you to the map which wont load, click on 'satallite' then you have to zoom out because your looking at the ocean, and in it is a star with a phone number and price :D
