Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Strange isn't it. I had that exact same model. Yes my clutch was heavy but it didn't slip and the car got to 230,000 miles... than then the turbo blew big time. The turbo manual was the fastest XM I've driven and I so used to drive it far more aggressively than the laid back auto I have now.

Not really low enough miles for an engine donor and body damage enough to put of potential
rescuers. Anyone here buying it to break? I'd be interested in the engine and exhaust...

If there is no takers and you offer him a few quid above scrap value you could drive your engine and exhaust home Andrew

Only I really don't need another car as I'm struggling with space for the ones I've got!
This one does look like a weighed for scrap car TBH. if it's an easy car to fix why hasn't
it been? Likely it also needs a few cv gaiters and full exhaust too...

Well Andrew, you could be cruel, buy it, take out what you need, and weigh in the remainder. It will be less wasteful than what will probably end up happening with it. And its not worth anything over £250.

TBH I can't see it being worth anything like 150! I couldn't tempt anyone with a TCT I advertised on the forum
with a 200 N/O price a year back and that had a working clutch! If this had alloys I may have justified doing as
you suggest Robert. What's the current rough scrap on partly dismantled Xm's? £100?
