O/S Headlamp washer unit cover

Im still on the look out for a cover for the O/S headlamp washer unit on the Xm.

Ive tried all over and can not find one, there is one on ebay but its for the N/S.

Ive rang WHM but they dont have any in either.

Does anyone have a spare or know where i might find one?

Hi Chris,

You can use ones from either side, I remember having to use a wrong sided one in the past. It worked, but I had to tweak it some way. I can't remember now what it was that I did. But once its on you'll never notice that its on the wrong side. If you get a whole pop up washer and cover, you can just fit it straight in as a direct replacement.

I did wonder about doing that but thought the angle would be wrong and not fit in with the line of the bumper.

I guess for 30 odd pounds it would be worth a go.

So it wouldnt look out of place on the wrong side then?

You'll only notice it if you are looking for it, basically the 2 washer covers will be the same, and pointing the same direction. I'll have a look at mine and see what the difference is.

Hi Chris,

I didn't get a chance to look at this this evening. I'll be away for most of the week, but will have a look on my return. You could always try and make the existing headlamp washer cover you have fit the other side that is missing.
