Hydractive Valve Coils and Plipper Body

Hi, I have a working plipper but some cretin drilled holes in the plastic body so that every few weeks I have to strip it and clean the battery/pcb contact area. If anyone has a non working Plipper with a good body I would be extremely grateful. As you can imagine it always stops working when I am trying to open the car in the rain. Only the passenger side door operates on the key, and then does not lift the other door locks, so the procedure is, open passenger door, lean right across to unlock drivers door, at this point coat has ridden up allowing rain to soak exposed posterior, run round and open drivers door and sit on wet seat, well it will be as soon as I sit on it. Of course, when I use the key to lock the passenger door, all the locks operate.

My other request is for a pair of Hydractive valve coils, someone, presumably the same gentleman who modified the plipper, cut the wires from the Hydractive ECU and connected 12volts to them straight from the battery, he should have borrowed the sign from the fish and chip shop, "Frying Now".

If you can help, PM me or post here with your offers.
Cheers, Kit

They are the same and only take a minute to remove.

They can be swapped over as a temporary measure but the actuating pin will be slightly in the wrong position when in the parked position, also the drain hole in the outer lock barrel will be facing upwards (instead on downwards) !

They ARE !

They are NOT the same !

So Kit, as they are handed (Identified by White pin for N/S and Black pin for O/S) but it's all been covered in THIS thread if you care to read thro' it !

I hope this clarifies all your need's (and Dieselman) and is of help.

:D
