Hmm. I wonder why the boot doesn't work on the key then....
I've fitted a black tailgate to a grey car and not seen the difference
- this is a bit more obvious mind fitting a green tailgate onto a White
car mind...
The body matched colour parts are largely hidden by the 'fake'
glass for the badges and the plastic trim below so the only piece
that'd need some attention is the actual top surface of the tailgate
under the right spoiler and an 1" wide piece at the tailgate hinge and
the lowermost lip at the visible join to the bumper.

Hi Andrew
The boot key not working is probably due to lack of use, the one on my black hatch seems to have siezed (sorry spanners) because I never used it, always opened the car with the remote.

Bloody typical Orioginal North Wales Car!
BASIC spec! Just the same as the TD Base I bought couple of months ago.. People in North Wales never buy high spec cars! No idea why, everyone ive seen on an CC or EY reg have been base spec.
This one is still older too, plastic inlet and Lucas pump, must have been the last before the switch to Bosch and Alloy inlet..

Plastic inlet, what use is that? It can't even be polished to a mirror shine...

Gone are those days for me - if it lets the air in, that's fine.
