XM SD to sell

I'm gutted ,but I have to sell my Xm 2.1 SD manual(on a H plate) . Had the usual intentions of getting the old girl back on the road,(no tax/mot), but job re-location has made this unlikely. She is gold/silver (depending on the aspect) leather interior. has faults (who hasn't)handbrake cable snapped, plastic thing on the drivers window lost or broken, dent in rear quarter. I took her out for a drive this morning, 100mph effortlessly achieved. I really will miss the old girl. Last night someone came to view the car, and despite no problems in the past the old girl played up (I think she's got wind of the sale. You know what they say, a woman scorned) First the battery was flat and had to be started with leads, then, when the ignition was turned off, the engine remained running, and the dash lights went into disco mode while the rpm needle danced like it was on Britain's got talent.
I will get a sparkey to have a look, but if anyone else has suffered this some suggestions would be welcomed.

There's currently a positive vibe about gold Xm's here at the mo and more info pics will see your Xm (hopefully) given a new home
- an early manual 2.1 with leather would tick a lot of people's boxes!

Whereabouts are you loacted and do you have any pictures to tempt everyone here? How bad is the damage on the rear wing?

Any more details like mileage, general running condition, how long since last MOT, pictures of strut tops?

I'm slightly tempted, but the hassle of getting it from Kent is a downer and I'm still working on the other SD....Oh, and I do quite fancy still having Sex in the next year... ;) :roll:

Milage is111350, I would confidently drive this car to Wales tomorrow if it was legal,mot ran out in june.I am not having much luck with photos but I will try to get some of strut tops. Any suggestions of how to download as attachments would be welcome.

I may be able to operate the bonnet catch on an XM, but I'm not much good on a computer.
