That is a nice one, it has the best XM velour interior available, and its spotless.

Are you going to bid Peter??

Peter,

It's the same XM as I already spotted/posted in THIS thread !
E-Bay Seller wrote:And another thing - the car IS advertised in a local paper as well, so it may be taken off auction according to usual rules.
Obviously there looking more towards the £600 mark as in the "Click-Cars" AD rather than the fifty quid start (With a reserve) as in the E-Bay listing .

I don't think so Robert, as Peter already made a judgment/decision in the other thread (That's of course if you have seen/read it) ?

Hi Peter.

Sorry!!! I didn't see this post before I sent mine in, I'll need to read them quicker, or get my Email alerts from Fleabay a bit quicker.

Bob.

Hardly spotless with that scrape on the rear 1/4 mind...

unless you mean the interior Robert!

They're ok seats but usually too firm; I've a few sets spare if someone really fancies one and wants to make me an offer! ;)

No, I have just sold my SX hatch, I like the interior and the simplicity but I really need an estate. The white one I have drives beautifully but is a bit tatty round the edges, I would like a really smart one, I might even consider a Mk1 as there don't seem to be any more Mk2s about. I would have been interested in that Triton green on if it wasn't auto.

Aye, I meant the interior was spotless.

I can't really comment on the hardness of the seats, I thought mine were firm becuase they're still new at 38k miles.

You may be correct there Peter :!:
Original/First E-Bay Seller wrote: Selling my extremely reliable and trusty Citroen XM turbo Diesel hatchback, which I've owned for 5 years, from 62 kilo miles to 100 kilo miles. Has never let me down.
But IMHO was possibly a bit economic with the truth and may have known of the underlying problem which has now been discovered by the new E-Bay purchaser !

Having contacted the seller he's confirmed it was the one being sold on ebay last week and that it's developed this fault since getting it home... Ph1 too :(

It all sounds a bit too suspect for me so I'll leave it - thanks for the advice.
The /\ quote taken from THIS BXC forum thread, it would be shame for the current E-Bayer 'welcome123.020' to spoil their 100% (19 feedback) record by selling this on to some-one else as there's no mention of this new problem in the current listing, which in turn could then cause the next possible purchaser to open up a dispute if this is not disclosed !

As can be seen from the PREVIOUS E-BAY seller's listing the bidding ended @ £205 (Reserve not met) so the current owner must have ended up buying it outside E-Bay (possibly thro' the CLICK-CAR'S ad.) ?

But as can be seen, the last bidder's id is masked by the way flea-bay work's these day's but the last bid of £205 was by a bidder with 19 feedback's which matches up with the current E-Bayer's feed-back score (So make your own mind up) ;)

Best of luck to the next prospective purchaser/owner :!:
