Odds & Ends

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Odds & Ends

Post by xmexclusive » Fri Apr 17, 2009 11:19 pm

Hi All

Picked up a couple of boxes of surplus Citroen bits today.
Started a look through and have not found much recognisable XM stuff.
I will start a list here just in case anyone recognises/wants some of it.
Most of it is NOS still in original packets.

95 566 738 - Qty 2 - think it is a Plastic Bumper fixing clip - BX?
96 140 986 - Qty 3 - 1.9D tailgate or wing flash - Stick one on the back of your V6 and really upset souped up Pug drivers when they fail to get past.

Will try to bring a few more back each time I go over to the unit.

Hi John,
if you come across a glass for the near side front sidelight gi'es a shout. Just noticed the glass missing when doing some work on the estate. I tried to pop it out to try some dodges on it but can't get to the release clip for cables, plugs and relay's, stuck some plastic over it for now. I have such a long list of to do's but the list get's longer every day. :?

Hi Bob

Will look out a secondhand sidelight for you. The plastic lense is glued to the light so they do not tend to come a spare parts.
The knack to releasing the sidelight clip by feel is to have the spare one ready so you can see where the clip is and which way to push it.

Thank you John.
Your kind offer would be appreciated, tell me the costs involved and I'll get it to as soon as possible. I can see and feel the clip but it's in an awkward place, full of stuff, :? but I'll leave it till I get the spare one. Don't understand why the lens would come unglued, and didn't notice it till today.

'Butee de pedale' = pedal stop. However neither the part number for this item nor the 'boitier electro' one are listed under Citroen service.

Found another hose this evening:
96 015 636
Still sealed in its packaging.
Think it was for a BX diesel.
