One of the bolts holding the front wishbone to the monuting that clamps the antiroll bar in place on the subframe sheared and having removed the mounting along with the wishbone the bolt is corroded permanently to the mounting. I will be able to get the wishbone out by grinding out the cap but looking for a replacement cap and anti-rollbar bush mounting from a scrapper. Can anyone help?
Items 3 and 4 in the attached photo. And what a sod to get out from its resting place..

I managed to free the cap (Item 4) with a bit of heat so just the bottom piece needed now which snapped when I dropped it. (typical). So just item 3.

These normally crumble away into powder the second it get's disturbed
- dropping it isn't the best thing to do with one still in one piece.
Depending on which side you're after maybe scotch mist does exist?

Thanks for that. Mine is a different part number but have asked if they have it in stock as well. Oddly the part number I am getting from Citroen for XM2 is the non hydractive part number for the XM1. Don't know what to make of that.

Two different parts, hydractive and non hydractive.
They have an angular difference to suit the type of front suspension.
Colinxm managed to use the wrong type though when I sent him some secondhand ones.

Hi John. Looking at the picture on ebay there is actually a step in that one front to back and not on mine. That suggests the wishbone will sit at a different height at the back. Those cap bolts are 10mm shorter on the earlier XM1 with hydractive. I wonder if they changed the set up on the Mk2 because they had stacks of non-hydractive bearing seats to use up.
