Wanted XM stereo

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Wanted XM stereo

Post by bantam » Tue Jun 02, 2009 5:30 pm

Has anyone recently replaced their car stereo ? I am looking to purchase an original one for my 96 XM (did they ever do a CD version ?) Must be in good condition with the CODE.

Thanks Paul

I have one, but without the code. Does anyone know how do get it? or does the expression 'chocolate teapot' come to mind?

Some years ago I lost the code for my ZX 1.9TD factory fitted radio. The local dealer was able to get the code (FOC as well!!) from Citroen after I had given him the vehicle details (registration and VIN number).

I'd certainly have a trawl about on ebay as I recall several have been sighted recently!

You could always try this site for radio codes, it looks like it has a good success rate.

Not sure if I have a radio for a series 2, I'll have a look tomorrow, if I have, it's yours!
