He would be able to make a go-er out of that one and the slightly mis-shapen one he has...it's even the same colour.

Dave, you're just like me then - you need another car as well as the one's bought already
or you don't feel happy?

So, it's not an addiction, just a comfort zone..

Hmmm possibly; though why not - it's an "interesting" place to be,
somewhere between enlightened and totally bonkers!
Maybe I should've just tried beer, ciggies or chocolate or something.

It is a contagious addiction you see. My dad has gone from hating my 'ugly' Xm to begging me to go and have a look at this one for him...
Bonkers!

Bonkers or not, if I lived in Norwich I would have been already

Well I went to have a look, and have not purchased it, but made an offer.
The gentleman is after the full 250 for it.
Here are the gory details...
Car started up ok with a jump start, first thing i noticed was the header tank squirt a load of water over the strut top on start up?
Not sure why.
Suspension rose up no problems, but car has a high tick rate.
Windows all work although drivers doesnt fully close, tailgate doesnt close as lock mechanism has been removed due to lack of a key (the ignition barrel has been removed)
Could do with a very good clean, some rust round rear wheelarch.
NOw for the dealbreaker
Both struts looked ok from the top... and well greased, but from underneath the rubber has seperated from the metal plate, and i believe goodbye time will ensue some time soon.
Ultimatly I think it is more likely to be a breaker than a keeper.
Bit of a shame as my dad was rather excited!
