I like the car but do believe less is more and certainly in this case the car would be better for being
simpler on the eye.

I'm not a big fan of the Cibie covers, the Pallas wheel trims or the gargoyle bonnet vent accessory
but thankfully they can be removed easily. The Cx certainly has a lot of period extras like the
rear screen louvre, window deflectors, armrest, map lights, cigar lighter extension and dash tray too.
I do love the very of their period seats mind!

I suspect its so original because it may have spent a lot of time in a Parisian underground car park.

That car is superb looking. It belongs to a guy Mark Green, I bought some CX bits off him at the National Rally. He runs a Xantia V6 daily as well.

Does look nice doesn't it. 8-)

Shame it's got the add-on's...they really need taking off being such a rare, and early car.

Yep...we got these off of him a couple of years ago...

One man's meat is another's poison of course...

I'm not totally sure I could live with the dinks and dings "patina" and even wonder if the accessories
are in some way a deliberate distraction from them? For the effort of buying and fitting all that extra
tatt I'd have sourced a "metal magician" to sort the bootlid and back wing and purchase a new nearside
chrome end bumper which would fit in about 10 minutes!!

It's more like salesmans patina..
The whole right side of the car or front wing has been repainted so another go wouldn't hurt.
