Hi all.

I'm going to put my XM on here first, to see if anyone is interested before i advertise elsewhere !

Many of you would have seen it at the CXM rally this year M484 MDV ! and was given a fair amount of praise for it !!

She's MOT'd until April 2011 & Taxed until Dec 2010, many of you will know it as being the XM that Phil saved and bought back fron the Alps this year, I will be sad to see it go, but a diesel replacement XM is needed, i do a lot of mileage during the week , and during that time several trips to Great Yarmouth and back to Sussex, the people i work for will pay for diesel, they do have a Zaferia that i can use which is diesel, but it is revolting, and would rather use an Xm for that journey !!!!

So pics of it canbe found on the CXM topic, or in My polished XM !!!, sorry i'm not sure how you post the link up

I'm looking for around the £700 mark, i need to replace it with another XM but deisel

Il'l be happy to answer any questions on it if you PM me

Thanks

Nigel

Nigel,

If you love and know the car, and considering how hard it is to get a good DERV, why not consider putting LPG on??

My Black TCT Auto Onyx has an LPG injection kit on it, and when I last used it I was getting around an equivilent 55mpg!!!

Hi Pau

I know it would be good, but the costs for LPG to be fitted, i will be so sad to see this one go, but my journeys to good old'e Norfolk are becoming more regular , plus my winter project is the two Bx's still need saving from the barn, MK 1 & MK2, both diesels, so if i can complete that and get one to the CXM next yr ,but will still be looking for a good diesel Xm.

Thanks for the comment on mine from the CXM , i may be picking your brains and a few others on BX's very soon, if not il'l be i think in perminent contact with Jim,

Ive had a handfull of BX's in the past... A 1991 H reg TZD Turbo, a J reg 19DTR, a G reg GTi in white, a H reg Grey GTi with Leather, a H reg TZS 1600 petrol (more thirsty then a PRV V6, HATED it), A 1992 TXD 1.9 too

So had a few of them....

As for remebering about them, Ive tended to forget instead... :?

OH WOW the B reg RD is a real rareity.... i guess she has the "Proper Citroen" wired dash amd half height orange lens front indicators??

The G reg one is just on change over as far as pipework goes.. On the G reg they started plastic coating the hydraulic pipes... so it either will or wont have coated pipes...
