Looking for a spring

The round locating spring clip, that holds the rear suspension cylinder centrally in its housing, disintegrated on my Xm when I was replacing the spheres.
Anyone know where I can get a new/replacement one? Citroen can no longer supply, so looks like I may have to track down something similar that will do the job.

Citroen service website show it available at £2.64p.It's been some years since i've needed to order directly from Citroen in the UK so maybe there is some disinterest at the dealer rather than unavailability.Certainly during my time in France i picked up a number of small parts like these within a few days of ordering from the village local Cit garage.

Yes, could well be a lazy parts-person who knows it will be a couple of quid and can't be bothered to spend time looking it up.
Can anyone get onto the Citroen Service Website? If I can get a part no or diagram or something It might help.

My local Indy mentioned that he could now order direct with Citroen Parts via the web.
The part is then sent to the local dealer who has to supply at trade price and deliver the part.
It seems that even Citroen have it in for the parts jobsworth.
Will see if I can find out more.

I think that's an option open to one if they register on Citroen Service as a Vat registered trader and maybe pay a subscription.
