Hi Peter.
I saw that. Raises the interesting question of what happens when there are no more. Strikes me it's only that Heath Robinson self adjusting bit that make them at all odd. Can't see there would be much difficulty in using a normal cable of a suitable length and making the adjustment manually at the arm end. Guess the bulkhead fitting might be an issue.

Thats about the size of it. I have one spare in stock, came free with the white estate for £150.00 - or was it the car that came free?
If its the auto mechanism that's failed, as it does on some, especially if its been mistreated,it shouldnt be to dificult to 'freeze' it and make up an adjuster of some sort, or put some spacers on the cable, as I have done in the past - not with XM's though.

I think you could probably have a clutch cable specially made for less than the cost of an auto box!
