Manual gear knob

As stated, I need a gear knob for a manual car as mine is split.
also, how do you remove the knob?

You just pull them off.

MIne's got three allen-headed grub screws holding it on. 3mm key from memory.

You just wriggle down the collar at the top of the leather gaiter to expose them.

I've tried pulling the knob up, I've tried pushing the plastic collar down...no joy...Help.!

The leather pulls down out of the plastic collar.

Twist and pull Will.

They are on tight. Only the automatic gear selectors are screwed on.

On tight...Not half...but it did indeed pull off, so now I need a replacement.

The good news is that the car is now welded, just needs sealing and undersealing, then fit wipers, tyres and see if I can insure and take it for MOT without a V5 being available yet.

I think I have a spare XM gear knob, its a wood type one off a VSX though? Where are you located?
